PBC Linear began in 1983 as Pacific Bearing Company, introducing a patented and innovative solution to the common problem of failing linear ball bearings. Since then, the company has greatly expanded its technology, expertise, and services, becoming a complete linear motion manufacturer.

Our engineering team combines years of mechanical and design expertise, both academic and practical, to create innovative technologies. A prime example is the SIMO® (Simultaneous Integral Milling Operation) process, which solves the problem of aluminum extrusion inaccuracies. Traditionally, each extrusion required lengthy machining and alignment, which was costly and imperfect. SIMO® uses synchronized cutters to mill all critical edges in a single pass, producing perfectly straight and consistent extrusions. What once took hours now takes minutes, delivering high-precision products at little to no extra cost.
