Hanomag (Hannoversche Maschinenbau AG) was a renowned German manufacturer of steam locomotives, tractors, trucks, and military vehicles based in Hanover. The company first gained international recognition before World War I by supplying a large number of steam locomotives to Finland, Romania, and Bulgaria. In 1925, Hanomag added automobiles to its product line, and in 1931, it expanded into the production of construction machinery. Since 1989, the company has been part of the Komatsu Corporation.
