L&S Bearing Company, founded in Oklahoma City in 1946, became a key part of LSB Industries. Initially focused on rebuilding bearings, which were in high demand after World War II, the company later expanded its product range to include motor mounts, universal joints, and clutch sets, serving the automotive aftermarket, export, and OEM sectors.
In 1998, LSB Industries initiated the spinoff of L&S Automotive Products Co., which was approved by the board of directors and shareholders. Today, the company operates a global online sales program, with around 20% of its revenue generated from internet orders.
